Transport means carrying people and things from one place to another. Vehicles powered by horses or engines are usually used to do this.
Public transport means vehicles that can be used by everyone.

Collect your class ideas and any pictures you can find and make a big poster of all the different sorts of transport.
Download and print out the 'Transport Snap' activity sheet onto A4 white card for each player. Cut out the nine cards for each player. Shuffle the cards and divide between two players. Each players' cards should be face down on a table and each player turns a card over in turn. The first player to notice two matching cards shouts 'snap!' and takes the upturned cards and adds them to their pile. The player to collect all the cards is the winner.
Create your own snap cards by using the 'Transport Snap' template.
