Heritage Motor Centre

Heritage Motor Centre outside Heritage Motor Centre contains a comprehensive collection of historic British cars and the finest archive of material relating to the British motor-industry. Guided tours of the Centre are available and, during weekends and local school holidays, there is a selection of exciting outdoor activities for all the family. Heritage Motor Centre Reading Room The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust was formed in 1983 to safeguard a unique collection of historic vehicles, which had been the property of the companies combined to form British Leyland in 1968. This was joined by a vast collection of priceless archive material including workshop manuals, handbooks, sales brochures, and business records. The archive includes a vast collection of photographic images illustrating the history of the motor industry, and an equally impressive collection of moving film.
